Our Code of Conduct

Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. is Florida's west coast premier construction company. The company's mission is to provide 'first-class' new construction and remodeling services to its customers by delivering superior project results; on schedule, and at reasonable prices. This is accomplished through the recruiting and retention of the very best employees in the industry, by focusing on quality and safety, and by maintaining a 'personalized hands-on' approach to our projects.
 
It is the responsibility of Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. to develop and maintain an economically sound and prosperous business. This includes our responsibilities toward the communities and environments in which we operate, toward our employees and business partners and toward society in general. In order to be successful and responsible we have developed a guiding set of corporate values of Excellence, Built on Honesty, Fairness, Hard Work, and a Commitment to God to Perform at Our Best which we engrain in every part of our daily business lives.
 
While we conduct our business within the framework of applicable professional standards, laws, regulations and internal policies, we also acknowledge that these standards, laws, regulations and policies do not govern all types of behavior. As a result, we also have a Code of Conduct for all Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. employees. The Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Code is based on our corporate values. The Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Code also provides a frame of reference for employees along with the Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Employee Guide.
 
Each of us at Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. has an obligation to know and understand not only the guidelines contained in the Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Code, but also the values on which they are based. We also have an obligation to comply with the Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Code and to help other employees do the same.

The Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. Code is supplemented by a set of Guidelines, which provides examples to assist employees in dealing with the various business situations. The Code and its supplemented Guidelines are intended to serve as a basis for ethical decision making in the conduct of professional daily business.

Hugh Helmly Construction, Inc. believes that our commitment to our Corporate Values has been the foundation for our success, and we believe it is vital to our future success. While the Code does not address every issue we will encounter, it reviews the basic principles, company policies and the laws that govern our business.
